Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

A notable gathering in Madrid welcomed community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, highlighted education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The meeting included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, eu news sondergipfel and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers shared reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can reduce prejudice.

In the discussion, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when accompanied by mutual understanding and responsibility.
